Episode 5.
OK… learned some things from last week… today I will start giving the actual synopsis as well as my take on it. It’s the format I started with when writing, so why not do the same for the audio format. I also broke it down by network this time, not sure why but it seems like it flows better.
To those of you still checking this out everyday. I really appreciate it. I feel like I’m still in the dress rehearsal phase of this project so I can’t thank all of you enough for tuning in.
Day 2 of the podcast… if you are already here, one day you’ll be able to say you were a listener when it first began. Whether you listen to it to help plan your tv viewing for the night, or just to listen to me make stuff up… I’m glad you’re here.
Here we go. Trying a new format. Moving into the realm of podcasting. We’ll see how this goes… it’s the same old silliness without all that pesky reading.
TV Guide: The glee kids head to New York City to compete in Nationals—-and take in the sights of the Big Apple. Patti LuPone appears as herself.
My imagination: The glee kids see everything New York has to offer, the Why Lie, I need a beer guy, the naked cowboy, and the battery salesman on the 7 train. Patti LuPone steals a cab from one of the kids.
TV Guide: Martinez and Peel (Roger Bart) are pitted against Jarvis and his ally; Leila struggles to survive; tremors are sent across the globe as the portal starts to open.
My imagination: Marc Summers guests on a special episode of Double Dare; Leila is tied down and slowly shot; we find out what really happens when you leave the door wide open.
TV Guide: The team questions the necessity of the treatments it is giving a performance artist; House’s unexpected action may forever change his relationships with Wilson and Cuddy.
My imagination: At a patients request, the team dresses him in a boy scout uniform, covers him in veal and nails him to a cross with the words, “US Policy,” over his head; House gets drunk on a knock-off scotch and has sex with a volleyball.
TV Guide: A popular magazine praises Coach; Vince’s past catches up to him; Luke faces the truth about TMU; a car accident delays Julie’s return to college.
My imagination: Cat Fancy magazine thinks that Coach should be educator of the year for hiring the stray cat outside of the football field to be the unofficial equipment manager for the team; Vince must travel to the future to prevent his past from passing his present; Luke knows his skills aren’t up to par for Taffy Making University; a bus full of Nihilists overturns on the interstate and the survivors convince Julie to sit in the middle of the highway until life has meaning.
TV Guide: Spike discovers his former mentor may be implicated in a tangled case involving corruption, drug dealers and an attempted gang execution.
My imagination: Spike finds out his 3rd grade teacher Ms. Collinsworth had been selling her arthritis pills on the black market through her students.
TV Guide: Booth and Brennan go under cover to find out what happened to a man whose remains were found lodged in the pinsetter at a bowling lane.
My imagination: Booth and Brennan join a bowling league to hear the truth about a man so high on crystal meth he tried to re-enact his favorite bugs bunny cartoon but got lodged in the ball return.
